We are currently seeking a Project Estimator for our Program Management division. This position will be located at our Client's Rochester, NYoffice.
The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Responsibilities
* Under the direction of the project manager, provide the project team project cost estimating during all phases of the projects.
* Preparation of Cost Estimates from the Initiating Phase to the Project Close-Out of all assigned projects and for all disciplines.
* In collaboration with company project engineering, responsible for negotiating design modifications (with OE) and construction change orders with contractor.
* Work with Project Manager and Scheduler to develop and refine Integrated Master Schedules.
* Support Project Managers, as required, to plan projects, resolve issues and provide cost information.
* Establish estimating cost standards formats to ensure overall program consistency and cost quality.
* Support as directed new functions and requirements as a result of Risk Analysis Workshops such as contingency management and cost risk management.
* Document all Basis of Estimates and Estimate Revisions.
* Utilizes Document Control to archive current and historical estimates and supporting data utilized in estimate development.
* Support cost database development, management, and maintenance.
* Familiar with industry Cost Engineering Standards in addition to the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering and best practice 46R-11
