Position Overview:

The Estimator/Project Manager at ATCO will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and managing HVAC projects from initiation to completion. You will play a key role in both pricing and executing the projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

  • Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
  • Calculate and itemize labor, material, and equipment costs for HVAC systems.
  • Prepare and present competitive bids, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
  • Conduct job site assessments to gather accurate project information.

Project Management:

  • Oversee HVAC projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, address challenges, and maintain clear communication with clients.
  • Ensure all projects meet safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC estimating and project management (3 years preferred).
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and industry costs.
  • Proficient in using estimating software and project management tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites in the Newburyport, MA area.
