Gresham Smith is seeking a Project Executive to join our Healthcare Studio.In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to grow our healthcare practice to deliver exceptional human experiences in healthcare settings.You should have strong business development skills, advanced understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the healthcare market, and the ability to clearly communicate with clients and project teams.Published or award-winning project experience is a plus. Responsibilities:
- The Project Executive will initiate, lead and maintain client service activities as well as direct or manage projects and local project teams.
- Lead strategic business development efforts by developing capture plans, initiating new relationships with key clients and maintaining existing client relationships.
- Lead the development of qualifications, proposals and interview strategies.
- Maintain and active and visible presence in the healthcare sector locally, regionally and nationally, including developing abstracts and presentations for industry conferences, webinars and publications.
- Management level project delivery oversight including ensuring deliver of quality projects from both the firm and the client's perspectives.
- Secure new work and successfully negotiate and manage contracts.
- Provide mentorship and support staff development including performance appraisals.
- Contribute to firm's stature by actively participating in leadership roles in the community and/or professional societies.
- Report to the regional operations and market leaders and assist with annual strategic and tactical planning activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture Degree from a 5-year accredited university or a 4-year undergraduate degree with a Master of Architecture. Current architectural registration is required.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience focused on a combination of Healthcare business development, client management, strong architectural design skills and project management.
- Must be able to lead a team at an executive level and make client presentations.
- Proven track record of winning work and developing long-term relationships with clients through unblemished client references and name recognition throughout the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success and advanced knowledge of marketing and business development practices, and principles.
- Must have experience focused on developing new opportunities and building long term relationships with both new targets and existing clients.
- Must possess business acumen and proven ability to execute strategy.
- Strong team leadership skills with a focus on mentoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly for project assignments, for marketing and to win new work.
- An entrepreneurial attitude.
- Working knowledge of Revit is preferred but not required.
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the local and regional market is preferred but not required.
