SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.SIE is looking for a Project Executive – Rail/Transit to oversee various MTA C&D transit projects. This position will be responsible for the successful construction and overall project delivery for the client and overall client satisfaction.Responsibilities:Overall management of large-scale multidisciplinary rail construction projectsManaging overall project team, including budget and scheduleServe as primary point of contact to the client on all project mattersOverall responsibility for construction managementResponsible for overall project delivery and qualityIdentifying and recommending candidates for the rail/transit teamLeading pursuits of rail/transit projects, serving as technical lead on key pursuitsParticipate in strategic positioning for major regional project opportunitiesQualification & Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similarLicensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager20+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track workExperience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJExperience with design-build projectsA demonstrated ability to cultivate new clients, identify opportunities, and win workStrong relationships within the industry including within agency, consultant, and contractor communityAbility to take ownership and be accountable for projects and personnelExcellent communication skills and work ethicA demonstrated ability to independently lead and support business development and proposal activitiesA demonstrated ability to evaluate the technical requirements of segments of the individual projects, outline the tasks, manpower and equipment requirements, establish fees, scope and project budgets and outline a project scheduleA demonstrated ability to administer all project general and technical data and reports to communicate verbally and in writing to all parties involvedExpected salary range is $187,200 - $301,600 annually.
