Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and DataProject LeadJob Summary:Our client in Georgetown, KY is looking for a Project Lead. This is a contract position.What You Will Do:Manage overall Capital Budget program.Primary point of contact for overseeing Operating Budget.Develop KPI and visualization tools to accurately and concisely report on budget status.Provide engineering and project management support for activities at non-manufacturing sites.Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting.Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, budget, safety, and current open issues.Monitor contractor performance as to safety, cost and schedule performance tracking.Development of detailed user criteria documentation for project implementation activities.Development of scope of work for the procurement of materials and labor.Review Specifications, Utility Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordination with customers.Monitor and coordinate architect/engineer site visits and responses to contractor inquiries.Monitor delivery and review of shop drawings and submittals.Coordinate update and review meetings with contractors and consultants to monitor progress on activities.Provide an initial review of vendor and contractor payment applications, validating actual project progress against approved schedule of values.Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders.Oversee the contractor's Quality Control program and ensure Quality Control procedures adhere to the plans.Basics:Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Engineering, Architecture or Construction management.Experience managing complex budgets.Construction project management experience 5 years working on multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with individual project construction types of various scope and size.Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule managementIntermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).Preferred:Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating.General understanding of construction safety programs and requirements.Software capabilities: AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Microsoft Visio.How You Will Be Successful:Envision the FutureCommunicate Honestly and BroadlySeek Technology and Business First Embrace Diversity and Take RisksWhat We Offer:Competitive SalaryComprehensive Benefit Package401(k) with matching contributionsPaid Time OffEmployee DiscountsFree training on all Altair productsWhy Work with Us:Altair is a global technology company providing software and cloud solutions in the areas of data analytics, product development, and high-performance computing (HPC).
