We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilize new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing marketplace.The Project Manager works closely with numerous Avanti groups to manage time, cost, and scope of contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) projects, and other internal projects requiring support from project management. The Project Manager facilitates both internal and external communication with Avanti clients throughout the CDMO project. This position coordinates internal resources, develops project proposals plans, tracks project status, and reports progress.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Key Duties/ Responsibilities: •Actively manages multiple complex projects•Excellent communication and organizational skills•Facilitates in the continuous progress of projects which have significant impact on the effectiveness of the operations team•Keeps team members, staff groups, departmental colleagues and management (as appropriate) fully apprised of project status and issues•Provides meeting management support and follow up on action items to ensure timely response•Supports efficient meetings with internal and external stakeholders: schedules meetings, develops meeting agendas, manages audio-visual needs, and communicates meeting outcomes•Knows when and how to raise issues appropriately to the team and management•Supports design and implementation of processes and procedures to support the CDMO business processSkills and Abilities:•Project management skills•Ability to progress multiple projects simultaneously to successful conclusions under own initiative•Working knowledge of FDA regulations•Ability to interface with all levels in the organization, including manufacturing or lab personnel and senior management•Ability to drive teams and suppliers to complete commitments and projects in a timely manner•Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers•Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks simultaneously•Self-motivated.•Ability to prioritize projects and activities•Good understanding of cross functional collaboration•Excellent analytical thinkingEducation and/or Experience:•Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline or another related field. Postgraduate degree preferred•2 years of experience in simultaneously managing multiple projects•Experience in cGMP environment preferredCertificates, Licenses:Project Management Certificate or PMP preferredPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen and hear instruction, interact with customers, consumers, and/ or other employees.
