About the role

The purpose of this position is responsibility for project management services to support our national healthcare strategic objectives. Key project delivery will expansion of services within the healthcare sector.

What you'll do
  • Manages the planning, organization, and project controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports.
  • Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources.
  • Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and exciting performance and retention.
  • Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values. Interacts regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved.
  • Manages and leads project management staff in the market and ensures detailed staff understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Guides all phases of project management including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closeout phases of the project.
  • Develops new business growth and maintains existing business relationships.
  • Responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, contract negotiation, contract execution, contract administration, and closeout.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify sophisticated project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks for client and company.
  • Coordinates the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the client and company.
  • Will retain project management responsibilities (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual healthcare projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.
  • Interfaces directly with client to define project requirements.
  • Participates in civic and business organizations.
  • Exhibits a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures.
What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) required from College or University.
  • Minimum of eight years of related progressive experience and/or training.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory position (direct report responsibilities) preferred.
  • LEED AP preferred.
  • PMP preferred (US and/or Canada).
  • CCM preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most sophisticated business documents.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to solve sophisticated problems and take care of a variety of options in sophisticated situations.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Management Director position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Management Director position is $180,000 annually.
