Job Description:

Title: Project Management Specialist Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103 (Remote) Duration: 3 Month+ contract to hire Shift: M-F 8 AM to 5 PM EST Description: As Growth Project Manager (GPM) with Aramark, you will support the Aramark Sports + Entertainment Growth team with new and retention business pursuits through the creation and management of various materials and support initiatives. Examples include RFP responses, customized proposals, capabilities brochures and booklets, and various presentations. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Positioning, and supporting strategic direction of the Vice President of Growth, this position offers a tremendous opportunity to learn about business development strategy, as well as exposure to a variety of accounts, functions, and leaders across the S+E business. successful GPM candidate will be expected to provide the team with capable, reliable support for a diverse range of F&B, merchandise services, and facility services opportunities with major and minor league sports teams, NC thletics programs, convention centers, amphitheaters, and other hospitality destinations in sports and entertainment. Although this individual will not serve as strategic project lead, he/she will have the opportunity to coordinate with core team members to gather information and complete deliverables under the direction of the other team members including the Director of Strategic Positioning. NOTE: This is a contract position anticipated to continue through mid-October, with potential for longer term engagement on a contract or full-time basis. COMPETENCIES/EXPECTATIONS:

  • Function as the project manager between the Pursuit Coordinator and various proposal constituents, including the sales/retention teams and corporate functions in support of facilitating the successful delivery of documents.
  • Coordinate with the other functions of the Pursuit Team around the sales proposal process with a critical eye for detail, analytical project management approach, and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Support the Pursuit Team in the administration of the process around organization, assembly, and distribution of sales proposals.
  • Review RFPs to ensure state and regulatory compliance and work with key constituents.
  • Obtain clarification, approval, and feedback from Sales, Operations, Legal, Risk, Supply Chain, and other constituents as needed, and project manage the inclusion of their comments or documents into the final proposal package.
  • Work collaboratively with all constituents providing superior customer service.
  • Manage projects on new sales and retention pursuits.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements and the sharing of best practices.
  • Facilitate the approval and signature process for proposals.
  • Track proposals and organize files in a centralized document management system.
  • Assist with the training/immersion of new Directors of Business Development, Directors of Strategic Development, and District Managers on the proposal process.
  • Conduct training for team members and project stakeholders on processes and tools, guide them in their responsibilities, and assist in any challenges.
  • Perform reference list management and upkeep on other tools and resources, which facilitate correct record keeping

  • Ability to identify insights and proof points to support positioning strategy
  • Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of S&E business, as well as detailed understanding of key programs and initiatives
  • Working knowledge of existing database of business development materials and proposals
  • Personal interest in hospitality industry preferred
Project Management:
  • Ability to adhere/adjust to dynamic project plans
  • Ability to create team reports/updates
  • Ability to coordinate projects with the BRC and outside design firms
  • Must have exceptional eye for detail; be process-oriented and sensitive to tight deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years' work experience in a project management role (agency background is a plus)
  • Experience working with restaurant, retail, or other consumer/hospitality brands is a plus
  • Experience in contract services (specifically, F&B) sales and/or operational role is a plus
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat. InDesign is a plus.
  • Availability to travel on occasion (~10%)
