Job DescriptionNemours is seeking a project manager to support our Northeast, FL operations. Primary Functions: The Project Manager position is responsible for managing multiple, moderate to complex projects, including managing straightforward strategic portfolio initiatives and projects, through all phases of the project management lifecycle for Northeast Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project and program management and experience managing complex workstreams with some experience with data analytics. This individual will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling projects to meet the identified business case and performance objectives for Northeast Florida. As project manager, he/she works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure assigned strategic portfolio initiatives and projects meet the stakeholder's requirements. This individual proactively identifies issues, risks, barriers and challenges, and clearly thinks through, and communicates potential solutions for resolution. He/she will work with Northeast Florida senior leadership, Wolfson Children Hospital senior leadership, Nemours providers, Nemours staff, and other partners to build positive professional relationships and model the Nemours Standards of Behaviors. Essential Functions: 1. Competent with project management knowledge areas, processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques. 2. Manages the implementation of assigned components within the strategic initiatives and/or an assigned portfolio of projects. 3. Through the use of the appropriate project management processes, tools, and techniques, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies, drives assigned strategic initiatives and an assigned portfolio of projects to successful implementation (from initiation through closing, and into maintaining). 4. Effectively manages all project phases with accountability for multiple deliverables. Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan, ensuring to effectively respond to time sensitive issues, meet deadlines, and manage shifting priorities, in a timely and thorough manner. 5. Collaborates with Northeast Florida leaders and supports them to deliver high quality value added strategic initiatives and projects, which meet the identified goals and objectives, and are the result of excellent project management planning, implementation, and organizational skills. 6. Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within the agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters. 7. Takes initiative, and is self-directed, while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness. 8. Keen attention to details and ensures follow through on all projects and related activities. 9. Creates and environment of transparency and utilizes the appropriate tools and techniques to ensure Northeast Florida Leadership, Executive sponsors, and project stakeholders are appropriately engaged and informed about the project's status, issues, risks, barriers, and/or challenges. Uses the established escalation mechanisms to identify, document, and seek resolution on major issues and risks, along with a willingness to go above and beyond to resolve issues. 10. Utilizing organization templates, works well with project team members and functional leaders to define work packages, estimate effort, determine resource capacity, and establish consensus on project activities. 11. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor. Performance Skills: 1.Builds and works to maintain positive relationships at all levels across Nemours. 2.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to objectively tailor messages to varying individuals and audiences. 3.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to focus detailed, concentrated effort on multiple projects and re-establish priorities, as necessary. 4.Has the necessary technical, leadership, strategic and business management expertise to successfully move people, processes, and projects forward. 5.Ability to provide project teams with direction, motivate people to perform, to leverage separate realities, provide feedback, and set expectations. 6.Good problem solving and decision-making abilities. Has a passion about solving problems and recommending solutions. 7.Ability to learn quickly, apply knowledge to activities and continuously improve Job Requirements: Bachelors degree required. Completion of Project Management @Nemours boot camp. 3-5 years of job related experience. Knowledge of healthcare.
