Job Description: As a Project Manager at BigRio, you will be our internal resource for overseeing and managing the entire lifecycle of technical projects, from inception to delivery. We work on projects from small startups through large implementations, and you will have oversight into multiple cross-functional teams. You will be the bridge between BigRIo and client stakeholders, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to actively lead, manage, and deliver projects. We need someone who will raise their hand immediately if things go wrong!
- Lead and motivate project teams, facilitating collaboration and communication. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure project continuity.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints. Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications. Implement best practices for testing, validation, and quality control.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates, and status reports, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a minimum of [X] years managing technical projects in [industry or domain].
- Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and technology solutions. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is highly desirable.
