Job Title: Project/Program Manager I (Automation/Robotics/Logistics/ Supply Chain)Job Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23454Job Duration: 12 Months ContractPay Rate: $32.45/hr to $33.45/hrJob Description:Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.Business Group Overview:The role is part of the AR Product Launch Team, within the Customer Experience Organization under Vince's leadership.The focus is on the AR Product, specifically the ToteASRS Solution (Tote Automated Storage and Retrieval System)—an innovative fulfillment solution developed by client Robotics Tea,.This system reimagines mobile robotics to optimize inventory movement for pickers, offering a cutting-edge end-to-end solution.Role Focus:As a Product Launch Engineer (PPMI), the primary responsibilities involve:On-Site Coordination: Running test cases and overseeing daily testing operations.Inventory Management: Ensuring inventory accuracy and coordinating test execution.Collaboration: Working closely with the hiring manager (HM) and a PPMIII to co-own tasks.Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Attend daily stand-up meetings and coordinate on-site activities based on project schedules.Collaborate with operations teams running equipment, supporting surveys, and ensuring smooth operations.Execute testing according to the week's test plan, including conducting user experience testing for workstations.Solve on-site problems with operations teams, reviewing process flows, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME).Primarily interact with internal client stakeholders and other contracted companies.Work Schedule:Standard working hours from 8–9 AM start to 5 PM (8 hours/day).Opportunity Highlights for Candidate Attraction:Cutting-Edge Robotics: Gain exposure to the latest advancements in warehouse automation, working on the client's largest robotics program to date.High Visibility: This role offers significant visibility within client's operations, making it a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about robotics, warehouse automation, and complex projects.Collaborative Environment: Be part of a team that values Leadership Principles such as Bias for Action, Earn Trust, and Deliver Results, enabling real-time problem-solving and fostering impactful contributions.Key Skills and Qualifications:Required:Project/Program Management (PPM): Hands-on experience in PPM or related roles.Technical Background: Engineering degree or background (e.g., process engineering) or relevant operations experience.Preferred:Prior experience with client operations.2–4 years of experience in related fields.3 must-have hard skills:Project/Process Engineering ExperienceAutomation Experience2+ years of experience (flexible)
