The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project management activities from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery of engineering projects. Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering, planning, design development, contract negotiations, and other project-related activities.
- Prepare and finalize engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures to meet project standards.
- Manage a team of engineers and drafters, overseeing their day-to-day operations and performance on projects.
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, schedules, specifications, standards, and other project documentation.
- Assist with invoicing and cost monitoring to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with owners and clients to provide regular project updates and address any concerns or issues.
- Assist with business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.
- Perform other duties as needed to support project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 7 to 10 years experience with 3 to 6 years as PE
- Project Engineering & Management experience
- Knowledge & experience with design drawing and project management software including but not limited to Civil 3D, HEC RAS, HEC HMS, SWMM, etc.
- Experience in working with local entities
- Demonstrated leadership, verbal & writing skills
- Ability to guide/train & inspire engineers
- Ability to satisfy clients with quality & timely submittals
