Project Manager - Civil Engineer Location: Houston, TX Salary: Up to $115,000.00 Position Overview Kuo & Associates (KUO) are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project management activities from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery of engineering projects. The Project Manager will lead a team of engineers and drafters, manage day-to-day operations, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The Perks! Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering, planning, design development, contract negotiations, and other project-related activities.
  • Prepare and finalize engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures to meet project standards.
  • Manage a team of engineers and drafters, overseeing their day-to-day operations and performance on projects.
  • Prepare project proposals, budgets, schedules, specifications, standards, and other project documentation.
  • Assist with invoicing and cost monitoring to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with owners and clients to provide regular project updates and address any concerns or issues.
  • Assist with business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years experience with 3 to 6 years as PE
  • Project Engineering & Management experience
  • Knowledge & experience with design drawing and project management software including but not limited to Civil 3D, HEC RAS, HEC HMS, SWMM, etc.
  • Experience in working with local entities
  • Demonstrated leadership, verbal & writing skills
  • Ability to guide/train & inspire engineers
  • Ability to satisfy clients with quality & timely submittals
