Job Description:
The Project Manager - Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in leading and managing large-scale projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, budget, and timelines. This position requires a seasoned professional with advanced engineering skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to foster significant client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects in municipal infrastructure, land development, and stormwater management.
- Develop strategic project plans, manage resources for efficient execution, and ensure projects comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses, prepare, review, and approve technical documents including reports, proposals, and design drawings.
- Actively pursue new project leads and opportunities for collaborations.
- Promote sustainability and resilience in project designs and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
- 5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering with a significant focus on project management and client relations.
- Proficiency in relevant computer modeling software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for frequent travel to project sites and client meetings.
