Job Description:

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial Masonry Contractor in the Charlotte, NC area on their search for a Project Manager for commercial masonry projects up to $20MM.

The Project Manager will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.

Title: Project Manager - Commercial Masonry Construction (2+ years)

Project Types: Stadiums, Hospitals, Mid/High-Rise Buildings, School/Universities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee & Direct the project schedules and budgets for successful completion of each project.
  • Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
  • Oversee and Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
  • Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable.
  • Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
  • Manage project deliverables
  • Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of commercial masonry construction
  • Exposure to/familiarity with masonry/concrete construction
  • BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred NOT required.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
