What You'll Do- Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments
- Develop drawings and technical specifications as required
- Perform engineering calculations as required
- Review engineering drawings and produce field sketches to support Construction & Engineering
- Field management of construction and equipment contractors including quality surveillance, field engineering, cost and budget management, and scheduling
- Track back charges and negotiate with Contractors - defend every dollar like it's your own
- Uphold project standards by adhering to project controls & procedures
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Review design and financial projections to verify accurate and reasonable project plans
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to clarify requirements and address specific needs
- Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients
What You'll Need- 5-10 years' experience working on fast-track projects
- Demonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same time
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, attention to details and find root causes for issues
- Goal orientated
- Professional Engineer license considered a plus
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication
- Shows a safety first mindset; recommends improvements to make the workplace safer for self and others
Your Education- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience required.
