17th September, 2024A Construction design-build firm is looking for an experienced full-time project manager in the Metropolitan Washington Area. Project Manager Responsibilities:Project Manager works with the entire team of design and construction including day-to-day field operation and coordination of projects ranging from $100,000 to over $5 million. PM is responsible for schematic design, estimating, preparation of bid proposals, client negotiations, ordering construction materials, subcontractors award, scheduling, invoicing, quality control, and final punch list.Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of commercial construction, preferably with local government and/or school renovations.
- Four-year degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Experience in a design-build environment
Proficiency with the following software products is desired:
- Microsoft Office
- Scheduling software
- Adobe/blue beam
- AutoCAD or Revit
