- Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of custom home construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Create and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines achieved.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that could delay progress or exceed budgets.
- Coordination:
- Collaborate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align with project specifications and quality standards.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery.
- Schedule and lead regular site meetings with project teams to review progress and address challenges.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project timelines, budgets, and any necessary changes.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress, ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Enforce safety protocols and adherence to local building regulations and company standards.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including budgets, timelines, and key metrics, to clients and company leadership.
- Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, expenses, and approvals.
Qualifications
- Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in custom home building or residential construction.
- Degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans with precision.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate teams and build lasting client relationships.
