Job DetailsWe're looking for an experienced Project Manager/DDC Technician in the High Desert area of California to oversee and implement Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems for commercial HVAC projects. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with project management responsibilities, ensuring the successful execution of controls projects from start to finish.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of DDC projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress, address issues promptly, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct project meetings to review timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Program, configure, and commission DDC systems for HVAC equipment and building automation.
- Perform system start-ups, calibrations, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Integrate DDC systems with other building management systems (BMS) and networks.
- Create and modify sequences of operations, graphical user interfaces, and system databases.
- Provide technical support to field teams and end users.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough system testing, commissioning, and documentation for final handover.
Requirements:
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other
- Previous experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency with controls software, networking, and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
