Work model:
What you will do:
- Create estimates for commercial and residential projects by collaborating with sub-contractors, vendors, general contractors, engineers & clients
- Prepare proposals, including a breakdown of materials, labor, and other expenses
- Deliver projects within scope and schedule through efficient management of budgets and timelines
- Collaborate with the scheduler to determine upcoming projects, labor needs, and potential delays
- Complete site visits regularly to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance
- Provide updates and resolve concerns for clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and close-out documentation
- Create shop drawings and submittals accurately for architectural review
What you will need to be successful:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience estimating and project management within construction
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects before established deadlines
- Knowledge of building codes, blueprints, and specifications
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Driver's license and ability to travel to project sites when necessary
