Job Description:
Summary
  • This role will provide project management support for multiple facilities/physical security projects, including certain infrastructure deliverables.
  • This role will take day-to-day guidance from the Facilities/Physical Security Program Manager, and will report into the Director, IT Planning & Governance.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience managing facilities/physical security projects and familiarity with IT infrastructure terminology and architecture.
  • The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project management throughout the SDLC.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple intermediates to large capital projects that are already in progress.
  • Manage RAID and escalate as necessary.
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with a variety of internal/external teams and partners, including facilities/construction, infrastructure, IT and cybersecurity.
  • Provide oversight of scope and schedule changes to ensure that all project requirements and objectives are being tracked and are documented, approved, and communicated.
  • Provide Communication/Reporting as needed with respective internal and external project stakeholders through standard PM tools and channels
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ServiceNow's ITBM/SPM Project Management suite.
  • Self-starter who drives for results.
  • Good cultural fit. Must be comfortable with a matrixed environment, collaborative, transparent, and able to adapt to different stakeholder communication methods.

  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks: prioritizes, delegates & manages time and workflow effectively.
  • Strong analytical & decision-making abilities: makes decisions systematically; anticipates and mitigates problems, and understands implications of decisions.
  • Adapts well to change and works well with ambiguity; open to new ideas and willingly takes on new responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal): creates reports, designs and conducts presentations for all levels of the Corporation.
  • Experience working with budgets, forecasts, resource plans, etc.
  • Must be able to travel to the SJI office and sites as needed for project planning and follow-up.
