Our work is grounded in a mission of equity and community empowerment, and we're looking for a Project Manager, Finance to help guide our financial strategy as we continue to make an impact. About the role As the Project Manager, Finance, you'll work closely with our CFO to develop, manage, and oversee financial aspects of our projects. You will ensure that project budgets are aligned with our goals, provide financial insights, and help us maintain the fiscal health needed to drive our mission forward. - Lead the development and management of project budgets, collaborating with project teams to meet organizational objectives.
- Analyze financial data, providing clear reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Build and manage pro formas to assess project viability and forecast financial outcomes.
- Keep track of project expenses and implement strategies to stay within budget.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks for projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and prepare documents for audits and reviews.
- Partner with the CFO and team to support strategic financial decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. A Master's degree or CPA/CFA is a major plus but not required.
- 3-5+ years in project finance, budgeting, or financial analysis.
- Experience in nonprofits or grant-funded projects is a major plus Skills
- Mastery of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with financial software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
