About Our Client My client is a full service general contractor that has been serving clients successfully for forty years. They are headquartered out of the northern suburbs of Chicago but have been building in Wisconsin for years through their Milwaukee office. They have been expanding in Wisconsin and now are beginning the work of establishing a strong Madison presence. In Wisconsin, they specialize in healthcare, municipal and light commercial work. Job Description
  • Lead project team in implementing goals and driving customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and QA/QC policies
  • Manage internal and external reporting, change orders, and pre-construction processes
  • Assist with project estimating and address escalating issues professionally
  • Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to determine specifications
  • Create and negotiate subcontractor scopes and contracts
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses
  • Allocate resources within budget constraints
  • Coordinate with field staff and manage project team
  • Monitor progress, prepare reports, and manage financials
  • Ensure adherence to quality, health, and safety standards
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Oversee project closeout and accounting-related duties
  • Mentor team members and manage their performance

  • 5+ years commercial construction project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Construction Management or Engineering preferred)
  • OSHA Safety certified
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Superior communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Advanced project management skills (scheduling, estimating, contract knowledge)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in construction methodologies and procedures
  • Skilled in coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficient with industry-standard software (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Experience with Construction Management software
  • Job order contracting experience (preferred)
  • Healthcare construction experience (preferred)
