The Project Manager will partner with the Talent & Development team on the configuration, implementation, and change management for implementing a new performance management system across Macmillan Publishers. The Project Manager will collaborate with the T&D team, the selected vendor, the HRIS team, and the IT department to ensure the successful deployment and adoption of the system. This is a contract role with expected duration of approximately 6 to 8 months.
SCOPE OF WORK
Planning and Strategy:
* Develop a detailed project plan, including milestones, timelines, and resources required.
* Establish clear objectives and success metrics for system implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Serve as the primary point of contact between Macmillan's teams (T&D, HRIS, IT) and the system vendor, Lattice.
* Facilitate regular update meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
System Configuration and Testing:
* Guide the customization of the performance management system to meet Macmillan's needs.
* Lead the testing phase for each module to identify and resolve system issues before full-scale deployment.
Training and Support:
* Create and deliver training sessions to prepare Macmillan employees for the new system.
* Provide ongoing support to users during the initial post-implementation phase.
Monitoring and Reporting:
* Monitor the system's performance and user feedback to ensure objectives are being met.
* Prepare and submit progress reports to Macmillan leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience in project management, preferably with implementing enterprise wide Performance Management, HRIS or LMS systems.
* Experience with implementing Lattice preferred.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Expertise in change management strategies and training material development.
This role will have an hourly salary of up to $50/hour, depending on experience.
This is a contractor role and the finalist will be hired through a third party vendor, Headway.
