Position Summary: We're seeking a strategic Project Manager to drive mission-critical initiatives in our fast-paced technology environment. In this project manager role you will be supporting a Navy Program within their Infrastructure Services portfolio by managing projects from the SOW creation to Task Order Award and then following it through implementation. An active secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Requirements: - Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience of working on DoD IT Projects in a project manager role.
- Experience planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects
- Experience developing program baselines and identifying program risks
- Knowledge of technical concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions.
- Experience with vendor management to ensure that vendors, contracts, and Service Level Agreements are aligned.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and help lead a team
- Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams
Additional: - Experience with performance management improvement in support of Navy IT governance
- Knowledge of Governance Risk and Compliance management to ensure that projects support appropriate risk standards and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps Platform
- SAFe Program Consultant Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Scrum Master, Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Delivery Management (APM), or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification
