Although this is not an approved position, we are accepting applications for this future and anticipated need.As a Project Manager II at Cherokee Nation Systems Solutions (CNSS) in Charleston, SC, you will oversee all aspects of field and/or task-level project performance.Compensation & Benefits:
  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager II: Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.

Project Manager II Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage all aspects of project performance, including technical, contractual, administrative, and financial aspects.
  • Supervise personnel involved in project activities, organizing, and assigning responsibilities to subordinates as necessary.
  • Oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations and address any concerns or issues.
  • Exercise independent judgment and a high level of analytical skill in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively implementing strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Project Manager II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, preferably in a federal agency setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make decisions independently.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion, meeting objectives within budget and timeline constraints.
  • High level of proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
