The Office of Enterprise Project Portfolio Management is seeking a Project Manager. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.Oregon State University is actively engaged in several strategic initiatives, including projects that support business processes, information technology, and teaching/research activities. As a member of the Project Manager pool reporting to the Enterprise PPMO Associate Director, the Project Manager (PM) works within the Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Office's (EPPMO) guidance to plan, implement, and monitor complex, enterprise-wide projects and initiatives for OSU. The PM leads development and implementation of complex projects to solve problems that may have wide impact, requiring high levels of functional integration and involving multiple disciplines to be managed.The PM provides consultation to units, departments, schools, colleges, key business stakeholders, and external vendors. Under the Enterprise PPMO, this position leads and engages in all aspects of project management, which includes initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.The PM will be responsible for successful delivery of one or more large-scale, highly complex projects in support of the OSU Strategic Plan 4.0 and the OSU IT Strategic Plan, ensuring use of standardized project management methodologies, processes, and tools.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management (75%)Provide project leadership, management, and coordination of assigned projects.Define and monitor project objectives, scope, and progress against plan.Develop, organize, complete, and manage requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for information (RFI) with vendors.Deliver data and analysis to support operational, research, and strategic decisions.Manage project budget, including tracking, monitoring, and reporting expenditures.Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.Complete post implementation reviews, documenting process strengths and limitations.What You Will NeedBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.3 years experience leading large complex project(s) (IT or otherwise).Ability to earn Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) within 18 months of hire.Strong written and oral communication skills.This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check.Working Conditions / Work SchedulePosition is eligible for in person, hybrid, or working remotely within the geographic area of the United States.Documents Needed to ApplyResumeCover Letter#J-18808-Ljbffr
