Job Description:
Details: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for a potential assignment as an IT Project Manager.
  • Lead the estimating, planning and implementation of data-related projects.
  • Participate in the gathering of functional requirements.
  • Manage the implementation initiatives in a manner that will encourage goal achievement.
  • Provide insight and guidance on the Department's operational process design and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Set standards for data management and conceive projects needed to eliminate the gap between current state and future goals.
  • Examine business practices to ensure quality standards are being met or exceeded and identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance and efficiency through process improvement.
  • Interpret and deliver impactful plans that specify strategy and improve data integration, data quality and data delivery in support of business initiatives and roadmaps to achieve results.
  • Proactively identify risks associated with project development and delivery.
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Closely collaborate with data stakeholders across DFS to drive decision making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, project status updates, minutes from project meetings, project descriptions, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsDetails:
  • 4 years of experience in financial services project management leading the estimating, planning and implementation of data-related projects.
  • 4 years of experience in managing implementation activities that encouraged goal achievement.
  • 4 years of experience in independently analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • 4 years of experience in maintaining detailed project documentation, including project plans, user stories (JIRAs, etc.), project status updates, minutes from project meetings, project descriptions.
  • 4 years of experience in proactively identifying risks associated with project development and delivery.
  • 4 years of experience in providing insight and guidance on the operational process design and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
