Job Description:
Position Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Improvement, the Project Manager will partner with departments across the agency to ensure approved initiatives are effectively and efficiently implemented. As strategic priorities become initiatives, the Project Manager will lead and engage in a process that includes the high-level phases of 1.) detailed analysis and assessment, 2.) design and action planning, 3.) execution, 4.) implementation, and 5.) transition to the assigned program management. The Project Manager will provide regular and routine reporting on progress to the Director of Quality Improvement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translates the organization's strategic plan into operationalized action plans and leads the execution and monitoring of those action plans Monitors progress of implementation of strategic initiatives In conjunction with the Director of Quality Improvement will assist with decision-making across the organization that will result in short- and long-term organizational stability and growth Obtains project approval from the Director of Quality Improvement. Establish project goals, scope, and delivery schedule Coordinate implementation of the project. Ensure that project deliverables adhere to established timelines and budgets Consult with internal stakeholders on data and management, strategic technology planning, and business processes Develop consulting work templates, including roadmaps, systems diagrams, business process flows, and other templates as needed based on the project. Perform any and all other related duties that may be assigned by the Director of Quality Improvement in the best interest of the organization SKILLS and ABILITIES Responsive Communication: Facilitate meetings, provide direction, utilize active listening, document findings, and follow up items. Operates with a sense of urgency. Self-Managing: The position requires self-direction to manage a portfolio of projects. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships. Requires an understanding of strategic and financial processes, including budgeting and project planning. Strong written and presentation skills; ability to analyze conversations with multiple stakeholders. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills Within the scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Ability to work collaboratively with others. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree required. Educational or work experience within the health and human services field is preferred. Two to four years of project management experience is required. Experience working with non-profit program evaluation and development Certification in project management required; experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred Office 365 SharePoint experience Experience utilizing project management platforms Salesforce experience preferred REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess and retain a valid driver's license Must possess and retain proof of automobile insurance CARE & TCI One of the essential job functions of any position within the agency is to align your performance with our overarching philosophy of CARE. All decisions, actions, communication, and performance should align with the six CARE principles (Developmentally Focused, Family Involved, Relationship Based, Ecologically Oriented, Competence Centered, and Trauma Informed). Not only must you complete the CARE training with satisfactory participation, but you must then put that training into practice in your everyday work. Every employee must also pass TCI training with a satisfactory grade in written and/or physical testing. All employees must remain current on refresher training that is provided monthly at all locations. You will be tested every 6 months on the physical portion, if applicable to your position. You will be tested annually on the written portion, regardless of your position. If you are not current on your TCI refresher training every six months, you will be required to retake the full course. If you do not pass either test, you may be required to retake the full course. Not only must you complete the TCI training with satisfactory participation, but you must then put that training into practice in your everyday work.
