BlackRock Resources is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
Qualifications:
* BS degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
* 8+ years' experience with heavy industrial construction work with a general contractor
Job Duties:
* Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects
* Accountable for the entire project scope, project team, resources, and the success of the project
* Meet or exceed the success metrics in the areas of safety, profitability, schedule, customer satisfaction and quality
* Leads team and subcontractors
* Enforces safety culture
* Provide regular and accurate financial projections to our clients ownership/CFO throughout life of project
* Proactively and transparently manages changes, utilizing company's change management software/protocols, and negotiates fair and profitable settlements with client
* Maintains positive cash flow through the timely preparation, submission, and collection of monthly invoices, especially final invoice
* Completes the project on-time with weekly schedule progress updates
* Track progress of critical and long lead submittals, materials, equipment
* Develops strong and trusting professional relationship with the client.
* Ensures that the client is satisfied and would do repeat business
* Delivers a project of award-winning quality
