In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing program and project management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it.' We are unique in that we supplement our program and project management services with in-house cost management and project scheduling, in a fully integrated package. We utilize this competitive advantage to meet client needs efficiently, expertly, and ethically all of which, together, has enabled us to achieve sustained success.

We are currently adding a Project Manager to our team in Charleston, SC. In this client facing role, you will be exposed to projects within the municipal and education sectors, along with the opportunity to support a variety of other projects and grow your portfolio.

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager manages projects as assigned and is responsible for coordination of the project team, appropriate communications with the client, management and control of scope, cost, and schedule objectives for the project as a whole.

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
  • Value Engineer the project.
  • Manage the on-site project management team.
  • Evaluate documents and communicate the clients specific goals and expectations to all project team members.
  • Develop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan.
  • Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with cost management group for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
  • Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and tangible documents.
Qualifications:
  • Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years' of exp in construction project management.
  • Skills: Ability to perform PM duties independently.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills.
  • The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
