Scope The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing multiple building automation installation projects while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships. Duties
- Coordinate and manage multiple automation installation projects while remaining organized.
- Maintain project accounting and contracts.
- Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with members of the company, clients, subcontractors and other contacts.
- Anticipate and be able to meet short and/or unpredictable deadlines.
- Understand and conform to company policies and procedures.
- Recognize and utilize the company's resources effectively and efficiently.
- Plan, organize and carry out assigned job responsibilities within established time parameters.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Continuously seek to improve knowledge of required job skills and stay abreast of industry changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-years project management experience in HVAC control and automation or equivalent industry experience in the NYC Metro area.
- Extensive computer and automation experience.
- Thorough understanding of the construction process.
- Demonstrated track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
- Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
- Competent working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.
- Able to write, edit and understand sequences of operations.
- Able to read and understand project drawings and specifications.
- Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with consulting engineers regarding design, implementation and commissioning.
- A knowledge of Automated Logic controls preferred.
