Job Description:

•Set goals and handle performance standards for multi-functional project teams and be able to deliver projects or programs safely, on time, within budget and aligned with all quality standards. You will ensure project delivery is in full alignment with business expectations and GERE commitments consistent with the Capital Project Delivery Process (CPDP) •Define and implement a sourcing strategy, including negotiations, appointment, control and integration of multiple vendors, EPCMV Providers and internal partners. •Ensure project reporting and decision-making processes are robust and timely. •Actively identify all materials of project change, ensuring appropriate & timely assessment and review are performed. Obtain appropriate authorization for any changes in project scope. Own the Project Change Register; •Ensure the project schedule is meeting business case timeline and own the plan-do-review process. •Support prefunding package development undertaken by the Front-End Process and Technology group to ensure that concept design solutions are capable of implementation within defined performance parameters. •Manage in-house Subject Matter Experts (SME's) who provide technical guidance and quality control for outside engineering firms. •Manage a 3rd party design engineering team to produce high quality Concept, Basic and Detailed Design packages. Manage terface with equipment vendors including Submittal review bid analysis, scope boundaries and technical requirements Skills and Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in engineering, or science related area required •Minimum of 15 years of shown experience in capital projects; a minimum of 3 years of which should be in the pharmaceutical or other process industry. Shown experience leading medium scale projects ca $10 - 50m, pharma-bio, R&D and/or aseptic secondary manufacturing capital projects - concept through design, construction, qualification, start-up turn-over. •Leadership experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or R&D environment •Full knowledge of relevant Safety, Health & Environment legislation •Capability in developing and implementing business strategy •Project and change management skills •Leadership of teams; Outstanding commercial acumen •Results focused and with excellent customer partnering skills and high degree of resilience •Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
