A recognized private organization in New Jersey is currently seeking a new Project Manager to join their growing team. Responsibilities: The Project Manager will:
- Identify, prioritize and sequence the project goals; identify key stakeholders who will need to be engaged to assess impact of contract proposals (systems, processes, practices, existing policies)
- Design and facilitate working sessions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, document, and prioritize requirements
- Identify and refine processes where the proposed process will integrate with other department operational rules, policies and procedures
- Produce clear and detailed project documentation and maintain repository as well as an estimated implementation schedule, spending plan, and business case to secure funding for the chosen solution
- Assist the team to design organizational structures and role definitions for how support should be implemented
- Identify critical day-to-day management within the departments in which unionized employees work.
- Develop content for workshop sessions regarding new processes and workflow customized to appropriate audience including staff, supervisors, managers and faculty.
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Human Resources experience in a Unionized environment
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated relevant experience managing administrative projects
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid analytic, problem-solving and root-cause identification skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
