Position: Project Manager (Customer Facing Systems)Location: CINCINNATI SERVICE CENTER 4000 LUXOTTICA PL MASON OH 45040 Job Description: MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing project processes.- Provides day-to-day leadership to large, multi-disciplined global project teams and manages the actions required to meet project deliverables.- Accountable for implementing the standard PMO tools, which include but are not limited to the business case/project approval, work plan, schedule, resource plan, communication plan, change plan, and risk plan.- Effectively integrates global resources necessary for successful project delivery.- Accountable for keeping project sponsors and stakeholders aware of project status.- Manages team risks and issues, assesses impact, and develops recommendations for action when escalation or mitigation is needed.- Builds and maintains productive working relationships with team members, external vendors, and internal customers.- Facilitates project postmortems, documents finding, and uses learnings to improve ongoing processes and best practices.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:- Experience implementing enterprise level business and technical solutions and delivering medium to large application development efforts.- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent project workstreams of varying sizes and complexities.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate/persuade using business and/or technical terminology.- Must have strong Microsoft Project skills.- Confident, independent, self-motivated team player.- Proven ability to lead technical and business resources and maintain internal and external relationships.- Outstanding attention to detail and well organized.- Proven knowledge of project management methodology, tools, and processes.SPECIALIZED SKILLS:- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired.- Systems Development and Processes/Methodology knowledge.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.- 4 or more years Information Systems or Business-related experience that includes the systems/applications of assigned area.- 2 or more years' experience working in project management.
