Description Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to work on-site in support of the United States Attorney's Office ( USAO) Southern District of New York, NY. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth. Join us and make a difference! Primary Responsibilities
  • Serves as primary point of contact managing multiple litigation projects simultaneously.
  • Assist with discovery processing, case review platform set up, and administration by working closely with the district's external vendor or utilizing the district's internal eDiscovery platforms, such as Reveal, Eclipse, and Everlaw. Utilizes eDiscovery software.
  • Coordinates with AUSAs to get the data into web-based document review platforms, such as Relativity and Everlaw.
  • Consults with AUSAs on technical issues and provides resolutions.
  • Creates reports for analysis by the case team using the Search Terms provided - i.e., run a Search Term Report in Relativity.
  • Assist with handling the increasingly heavy load of litigation support tasks required to support large cases.
  • Support attorneys, paralegals, in the effective use of document review platforms.
  • Perform document review and analysis.
  • Performs database coordination/access.
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Five (5) years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects
  • Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and eDiscovery support activities.
  • Expert knowledge of litigation support.
  • Demonstrated outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
  • Able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs.
  • Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment, including office automation networks, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as but not limited to Relativity or other document review platform, or Trial Director.
  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
  • Expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware and document review platforms.
  • Undergraduate degree required. Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing workflows using Reveal, Eclipse, and Everlaw or other eDiscovery software applications
  • Experience training and supervising staff in the use of eDiscovery and other litigation support applications
  • Experience coordinating project technical requirements with technical staff
  • Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree
