Project Manager Supply Chain

On-site - Palo Alto, CA

$50- $65/hour

Our client, a TOP 10 hospital in the nation, is currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager. As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating multi-disciplinary, matrix teams through the aspects of programming, planning, design, construction, process improvement, and new site activations. Responsibilities:

  • Establishes effective working relationships with key operational leaders and stakeholders
  • Makes necessary technical, professional, business, budget and process decisions and ensures that all needed decisions are accomplished according to schedule, scope, quality and budget guidelines
  • Completes various special projects, which may require reviewing and analyzing information, identifying problems, recommending solutions, and writing reports
  • Uses understanding of Supply Chain operational workflows to guide operational teams in designing operational flows for activations
  • Assesses, and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project, including not only the user's functional needs but also hospital and external jurisdictional criteria for heal and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics
  • Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as department representative on committees and professional organizations
  • Maintains communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions
  • Manages the review and approval process to ensure appropriate approvals of all design work from schematic studies through final construction documents and related field changes and changes in scope; as well as approval for conceptual and detailed projects budgets.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of directly related work experience
  • PMP Certified is preferred
  • Hospital experience is a plus!
  • Bachelors degree
  • Understanding of project management practices and principles
  • Flexible and adaptable personality
