Overview:Design. Disrupt. Repeat.Steampunk wants you to join our team as a Program Manager to support the design and implementation of mission systems improvements and modernization for a federal client. This includes the documentation of the security strategy, planning, and architecture, which will lead to the eventual build-out of the solution.Contributions:As a Program Manager , you will be the leader, driving delivery in a government client consulting environment. You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a client environment.Responsibilities include:Serving as the technical delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptanceManaging the P/L of their portfolioFostering and promoting innovative thinking across the client environmentBuilding and maintaining client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teamsHandling challenging client situations and offering technical and business guidance & direction to client executivesManaging staff and monitoring performance and training needs to create skills expansion and career advancement opportunitiesQualifications:Requirements:US CitizenAbility to get Federal ClearanceLeadership. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work out.Located in Washington DC Metro Area (hybrid / limited travel)5+ Years working in technology5+ Years leading in consulting services7+ Years total experienceProven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom Software solutions in client environmentsDemonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problemsProven experience growing and selling while deliveringExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skillsStrong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityProven team player and team builderStrong organizational and analytical skillsExperience working with Human Center DesignBachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and a proven background in consulting and project managementPreferred:PMP, Scrum Master certification preferredFederal Clearance PreferedAbout steampunk :Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
