JOB SUMMARY:The Project Manager is responsible for oversight of the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of the project to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding and contract administration functions.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Management:Possess working knowledge of all projects plans, specifications, contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals and all other project related documents and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-builts.Develop a project schedule. Once schedule is developed and sequenced update and maintain, communicate, and manage all subcontractors and vendors to the schedule.Maintain positive and respectful relationships with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees. Review and expedite RFIs.Review and approve subcontractor and vendor payment applications and miscellaneous invoices.Keep informed on and ensure that all requirements of insurance, safety, labor relations and Equal Employment Opportunity are met.Develop, review, approve and implement project budgets, schedules and contract bid documents.Assure work in place meets quality requirements of the project specifications.Estimating and Bidding:Obtaining quotes from subcontractors and material vendors.Preparing detailed takeoffs.Preparing and maintaining estimating spreadsheets.Prebid site visists.Bid preparation and delivery.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Fluent verbal and written English.Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Fluent in Adobe Acrobat.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:Construction background. 6+ years experience in commercial or civil construction. Experience in concrete or concrete repair preferred.
