Project Manager - reconstruction The Project Manager position requires the efficient management of employees, paperwork, sub-contractors and communication with municipalities, insurance adjusters and customers. You must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate sound working knowledge of construction procedures and protocols. Overall, the Project Manager supports the company in achieving its goals by effectively and efficiently managing assigned claims to ensure full accountability for our staff and workmanship by delivering a project that meets, and even exceeds, the customer's expectations. Major Responsibilities:
- Scheduling projects
- Selecting and purchasing material
- Maintaining budgets
- Manpower resource management
- Procuring equipment
- Overall site management
- Excellent communication with clients
Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of the of the restoration industry
- Must have excellent communication and people skills to represent the company successfully and clearly to the public
- Must have computer software proficiency with Windows, MS Office, Outlook and Microsoft Project
- Must be organized and self-motivated, pay attention to detail and require little direct supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines
- Familiar with estimating software (Xactimate experience is a plus)
- Strong sense of urgency
- Excellent ability to complete required paperwork correctly and punctuality
- Hard working team player who can easily adapt to changing needs
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver's license
Preferred, but not required:
- Subcontractor base
- IICRC certification in Fire, Water, and Mold restoration
- HAAG Certification for roofing
- OSHA training and certification
