We are looking to fill a 1st shift (8am-4:30pm) position in our Production Department. Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will have performing as our Project Manager.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Required: High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent.
- Preferred: Two or more years' experience in a Project Management role.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in product engineering, industrial or mechanical engineering, business administration/operations or a related field.
- Strong familiarity with Project Management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and overall communication skills.
- Excellent multitasker with ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certified a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project cost to meet budget which would include calculated return on investment for capital expenses.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed for positive results.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Any other duties requested by the supervisor.
