We are looking to fill a 1st shift (8am-4:30pm) position in our Production Department. Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will have performing as our Project Manager.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Required: High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent.
  • Preferred: Two or more years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in product engineering, industrial or mechanical engineering, business administration/operations or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with Project Management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and overall communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasker with ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certified a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project cost to meet budget which would include calculated return on investment for capital expenses.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Provide updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed for positive results.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Any other duties requested by the supervisor.
