Ready to change the world? Our client is running one of the largest energy projects in the US. Running 2.5 diameter cables 338 miles from the Canadian border south through Lake Chaplain, along the Hudson River, and eventually ending at a converter station that will be built in Queens. In this role, you will report directly to the VP Marine and be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the installation in your assigned area, while closely acting as a liaison with team members assigned to other areas of work. You will review and manage installation procedures, route and crossing designs. As you manage a team of field engineers you will become familiar with the equipment and the processes they will be monitoring.You will also host and facilitate readiness reviews, kick-offs, and risk reviews which identify hazardous areas along the routes. You will need to live in either NYC, Buffalo, Albany, or Syracuse. Anywhere along I-87 could work too. The company will provide an office space for you to work out of when you are not physically on a project site. You must be comfortable with traveling to either the Hudson site or Lake Chaplain and Harlem locations. Work locations will include offices, sites, and vessels (including live-aboard periods), and may require travel at short notice. - The Project Manager will support regulatory, compliance and stakeholder engagement teams, as directed, to ensure the on-time submission, review, and approval of EM&CP packages submitted for the various segments of the project- The Project Manager will play a key role in monitoring the marine installation contractor and their subcontractors to ensure the work is completed as agreed upon and permitted- The Project Manager will be involved in detailed engineering discussions with the company's engineer and others, in supporting the Director of Infrastructure as utility crossing designs and agreements are put in placeBase salary, with a 30% bonus followed by an additional 1-year salary bonus at the completion of the project that is estimated to end in 2025.
