Job Description:
Candidates MUST reside in one of the 5 Boroughs of NYC in order to be considered. A renowned structural engineering firm in New York City is on the lookout for a talented Project Manager to join their innovative team. This pivotal role offers the chance to oversee a variety of high-profile projects, ensuring they meet stringent local regulations and are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in facade restoration, exceptional organizational prowess, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 / year DOE Project Manager Requirements:
  • 4-8+ years of experience in facade restoration/Architecture industry
  • Proficiency AutoCAD and creating construction documents
  • Basic understanding of the construction industry and knowledge of proper conduct at project sites
  • Experience working in the field on commercial and/or industrial projects is highly preferred
  • Experience with NYC/DOB Permitting and knowledge of NYC Building Codes is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Hard-working and self-motivated and possesses a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires 75% field work within the five boroughs and 25% onsite work at their Manhattan office
Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to develop and manage all phases of the design/ documentation process
  • Conduct field visits to all project sites to ensure completion according to final briefs and designs
  • Manage board meetings, produce client presentations, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Handle reporting and update management, work alongside senior staff and interact with contractors regarding construction administration tasks
  • Stay up to date with local New York laws and regulations to ensure projects are compliant and up to code
  • Mentor and train junior project team members, assist with other projects
