Position Function and Duties The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of projects of all sizes according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. All functions are performed in accordance with the Agency's strategy and the Innovation and Technology Department policies, procedures and guidelines with general direction from management. Position duties include but are not limited to:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Ensure definition, documentation and approval of business requirements and technical solutions.
- Prepare and update all project documentation as defined in standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

QualificationsEducation, Experience & Certification(s):
- Associate Degree in the field of Information Technology, Business Administration or Project Management, or 2 years of IT industry experience.
- 2 years of experience managing Information Technology projects.
- PMP certification a preferred.
- ITIL v4 certification a plus.
- Or any combination of education, training and work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.
- This position requires a minimum two year term and successful completion of the associated training plan prior to promotion eligibility.
