CWM is seeking a skilled and experienced Grading Project Manager to join our Savannah team. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with project engineers, and other members from the team.

Responsibilities during construction include tracking pay quantities and submitting pay requests to project owners, evaluating project performance against budgets and schedules, identifying changes to the project scopes and pricing change orders, managing subcontractors, and offering technical support to foremen, engineers and superintendents. The ideal candidate should also have an interest in field operations and being part of some of the most challenging & rewarding projects in the Southeast.
Tasks Essential to Job Functions
* Schedule and organize day-to-day operations for grading/pipe/construction crews.
* Estimate time and resource requirements for projects.
* Maintain records of equipment, supplies, and labor hours using provided software
* Coordinate ordering of equipment and materials.
* Knowledge of the techniques of job planning, finish grading and construction work.
* Ability to demonstrate knowledge with reading plans and reading grades.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to plan, supervise and delegate work and maintain accurate records.
Qualified applicants should possess:
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to work variable hours and participate in hands-on training.
