Summary: The Project Manager position at Mustang Extreme Environmental Services (MEES) is responsible for the timely, safe, cost-effective execution of projects assigned to him/her. This position participates in staff meetings, establishes project scheduling, monitors project performance to established budgets, and communicates with management, field supervisors, crew leaders, contractors, and vendors. Responsible for job site safety, scheduling, quality, training, planning/reporting, and cost containment procedures. Projects will range in location, size, and complexity across all regional markets covered by the Company. Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Direct primary communication with MEES Team and external contractors after project award.
- Work closely with Project Estimators and Operations Managers.
- Establish project schedules.
- Ensures Operations Manager is fully informed of contract and communications.
- Executes sound cost practices.
- Ensures work meets health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ensures implementation of quality assurance in conjunction with Operations Manager.
- Prepares and submits necessary documents to contractors.
- Performs site visits as required to ensure integrity and quality of work
- Identifies changes in project scope and submits change orders with minimal or no impact to progress of project.
- Prepares and submits invoicing to contractors.
- Conducts and or participates in job hand offs and project post evaluations.
- Member of safety and operations meetings.
- Verifies and ensures coding of project expenses are correct prior to submitting to accounting.
Requirements, Knowledge, and Core Competencies:
- Completion of post-secondary education in Engineering/Operations or a combination of education and experience preferred
- Three to five years' experience in Construction Project Management.
- Five to Seven years of Project Management in environmental/containment/oilfield/natural gas services industry.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to navigate at an advanced level in a Windows® environment including above average proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to develop specific goals and plans in order to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Ability to efficiently communicate with business partners, supervisors/managers, peers, or subordinates in verbal or written form.

Working Environment: Typical office/field working environment necessary to perform all essential job functions with reasonable accommodations compliant with EEOC enforced ADA guidelines. This position includes a mix of indoor and outdoor activities in all weather conditions, consistent with a standard project management position. Includes travel to clients' project sites and local and out of state offices of the company and its customers as necessary. Operating specialized tools and equipment including Wedge Welder, Extrusion Gun, Air testing equipment, misc. hand and power tools, generators, skid steer, front end loader, and fork/man lift.
