Location Description:The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility is 1,120,845 square feet and home to about 470 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits and 9Lives. This location has a cannery that produces wet dog food and there is also a Distribution Center on-site. Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, a landmark Town Park with many acres of recreational activities, and has one of the largest and longest running fairs in the country. Responsibilities:JOB FUNCTION
The purpose of this job is to provide engineering project management and engineering services to support and help manufacturing facilities. Job duties include project development, project implementation, problem solving, option development, meeting facilitating, team leadership and oversite of contractors and outside Engineering Project Managers. Will help with capital planning for the future. Will be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports safety, food safety, quality, and the environment.
JOB ACTIVITIES/DUTIES
Education: Bachelor degree in engineering required. In lieu of degree, 10+ years of relevant experience; Extensive knowledge of project management and construction required. Graduate studies in business, management, or engineering desired. PMP Certification and/or PE license is desirable.
Experience: Cereal processing experience is a plus. Minimum 10 years of experience including project management, process or facility design and contractor management in a process environment. Proven management experience of large, complex, multi-million dollar projects is required. Must be well rounded with grasp of many engineering disciplines, construction disciplines, as well as plant operations.
Technical Skills: Ability to formulate and execute extremely complex plan for significant multi-million dollar projects that when complete, will meet project or company goals; In-depth engineering analysis and design. In-depth project scheduling; Sound analytical thinking; Ability to design, construct, and start-up facilities, processing, and utility systems of significant magnitude.
Management Skills: Ability to manage extremely complex, multi-million dollar projects from concept to completion; ability to develop and organize an effective design team to meet project goals, either from in-house or outside company; ability to work with people; ability to lead project team to successful development of project scope and implementation of project. Strong organizational skills. Must be able to leverage external engineering resources.
Travel: Significant travel will be required for project management activities in Lawrence, KS, Bloomsburg, PA and Meadville, PA.
Other: Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language.

Work Structure: Incumbent organizes own work to complete assignments. Requires self-directed actions and independent decision-making on major issues.
Responsibilities: Responsible for annual project portfolio up to 20MM. Responsible for design, procurement, construction, and start-up. Supervises, coordinates and schedules work of outside engineers, architects and contractors, with significant contract values and consequences.
Effect of errors - potential for very significant costly error exists; design errors and project execution errors can delay installation and production and effect future business growth/profitability, and create the potential for physical damage and personal injury.
