Position Summary & Duties: The Project Manager is a direct-hire position working for HGA at our office in Baton Rouge, LA. PROJECT MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager position provides administrative and technical management of one major function or section within HGA. ProjectManager assumes overall responsibility for budgeted man-hours and staffing. Project Manager recommends personnel transactions of all natures. Establishes work group standards, policies, and procedures. PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Leads the planning and implementation of projects. • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. • Define project tasks and resource requirements. • Develop full scale project plans. • Assemble and coordinate project staff. • Manage project budget and resource allocation. • Plan and schedule project timelines. • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. • Provide direction and support to project team. • Ensure project is operating within quality assurance guidelines. • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project. • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. • Project evaluations and assessment of results. • Supervision and approval of proposals.Qualifications: PROJECT MANAGER EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college. • Minimum of ten years of full-time engineering project related experience involved with petro-chemical facilities. • Experience including budgeting, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, and reporting within projects or programs. • Experience leading projects in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Strong familiarity with advanced project management practices, methods, and techniques. • Proficient in the use of MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word. • Financial Management - Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections. • Candidates must be located within daily commuting distance of Baton Rouge, LA CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES • PMP certification a plus.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
