Overview:
Kemin Nutrisurance is seeking applicants for an exciting position in the North America Marketing team! The Project Manager will apply professional project management skills to implement projects that support the business needs of Kemin Nutrisurance.
The responsibilities of this role include driving of Product Innovation Pipeline initiatives for Palatants and Health & Nutrition platforms, including the coordination and communication of funnels, launch calendars, and individual project teams. The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple projects across all functional areas to ensure execution on time and in line with business needs, and provide excellent communication to stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, deliverables, budget, goals, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Accurately present project status and findings in an appropriate and timely manner to allow the management team to make critical decisions based on key data.
- Execute key strategic projects, activities, and action items.
- Responsible for tracking changes in project scope, identifying potential risks, and developing contingency plans
- Delegates project tasks and responsibilities.
- Lead project team meetings and ensure follow-up actions are identified.
- Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of related work experience.
- Science related degree preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent certification preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible during times of change.
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and positively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, within project teams and to management.
- Ability to communicate to a diverse group of technical and non-technical groups of people.
- Demonstrated ability to build technical knowledge needed to effectively lead projects with technical components.
- Ability to persuade, encourage, motivate, and read communication styles of team members.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under time constraints as necessary.
- Ability to coordinate internal and external resources, such as vendors and consultants.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Must be proficient in English, multi-lingual is a plus.
- Advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Planner and other planning software.
