LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).Please provide references upon resume submission.ResponsibilitiesOversight of the construction contractEnsure agency policies and procedures are being followedIntervene when necessary to ensure timely completion of project workCoordination with design teamAid in resolving design issues should they ariseReview and process Request-for-Information and Information-BulletinsOversee safety and security of the siteTrack contractor submittals utilizing submittal exchangeKeep agency Area Supervisor informed of progress and issuesConduct Bi-Weekly project meetingsComplete Bi-Weekly job reportsCreate and track Field Orders and Change OrdersAssess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budgetMonitor contractor's schedule in Primavera P6 to ensure timely completion of project workHold monthly scheduling meetingsReview and assist OGS personnel with claim responses or contractor disputes, if necessaryMonthly contractor payment review & tracking of certified payrollsEnsure compliance with the project specific construction management planOversight of Inspector dutiesCoordination with Code Inspection personnelComplete accident reporting if necessaryQualificationsWillingness to work inside minimum and maximum security prisonsOSHA 30Ability to pass criminal background checkCandidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldAbility to manage multiple projectsMinimum of 8 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projectsMinimum of 4 years' experience in a role of Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million, with an extensive knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documentsAbility to manage various projects using established controls and proceduresProvide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, and qualityExperienced coordinating with designers handling any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facilityFull knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor's payment applicationValid drivers' license, dependable transportation and the ability to travel as neededProficient with web-based submittal collaboration systemProficient with project scheduling software (preferably Oracle Primavera)Cost estimating/negotiating experienceKnowledgeable experience with the Uniform Building CodeOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
