Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects and ensure successful completion in alignment with financial goals and client satisfaction. This role requires an experienced professional to lead project teams, manage budgets, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead the pre-construction, planning, execution, and closeout phases, ensuring projects meet financial, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including cost reporting, change orders, and cash flow.
- Team Leadership: Supervise project teams, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative work environment to optimize performance.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing any issues impacting client satisfaction and fostering strong relationships.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and lead initiatives to maintain a safe work environment.
- Documentation: Oversee the generation and submission of project documentation to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues proactively and implement solutions to maintain project progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives and support the companys growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years as a Project Manager in construction, with a total of 12+ years in the industry. Extensive experience with large-scale projects is preferred.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with construction software such as Primavera or Timberline.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively across all levels.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and interacting with clients and team members.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to conduct cost analyses and budget forecasting, as well as understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Safety Certifications: OSHA, First Aid/CPR preferred.
Work Environment:
- A combination of office and fieldwork skills and exposure to construction site conditions. It may involve occasional physical effort, such as handling light materials.
